About

My name is Khadijah Warnke. I am a sophomore soon to be senior at the University of Florida. (GO GATORS!!!!) I’m currently studying criminology with aspirations to council at risk youth in juvenile correction facilities. I have created this blog for my english class to express what we are learning through electracy. This particular blog has been converted into a MEmorial dedicated to the growing problem of at youth violence in our society. I feel as though the issues concerning youth violence goes unseen as if people turn a blind eye to it but it is certainly a serious and GROWING disaster.

  1. Hi all at Kwarnke!

I’m Carly from BreakThru Radio and earlier this week, we had an awesome, unique video from the indie super-group Thieving Irons! This group features Bryan Devendorf from The National, who I saw you wrote about just a few weeks ago. The band got together with our friends over at Serious Business and recorded two songs, “On the Horizon” and “Babylon is Burning,” plus we threw in some entertaining clips from their interview. As I was browsing your site today, I thought this kind of video would be perfect for your readers. Check out this exclusive video from BTR!

I just thought you and your readers would be interested in a video like this one, as a follow-up to that article. Let me know what you think, and if you chose to share it with your readers, forward me a link so we can get that on our site and social media platforms.
Thanks so much for your time!
